These Crosman Premier hollow points are, on the whole, good. They are cheap and well made. However, in my tin of 500, at least one in five pellets (around 100 pellets) was a loose fit in the breech, i.e. where most pellets must be gently pushed into the breech, these simply "drop" in, indicating that there is a variance in size from pellet to pellet. This always leads to an inaccurate shot (sometimes off by more than 15cm at 20m shooting distance). This is a HUGE miss, considering that the pellets which fit well, result in a group which is very tight indeed. When the pellet "drops" in too easily, I simply fire it into the grass and load another one. Considering that hollow points are normally used for hunting, you had better be prepared to miss a few shots, or risk spooking your quarry by firing the pellet into the ground.
For general plinking, where a few missed shots are no big deal, these pellets are excellent, considering their low cost. For hunting or serious competition, you'd do better looking at the H&N Baracuda Match or Field Target Trophy.
